We use court cam footage from true crime trials and condense the processes of the trial to about an hour. The evidence that leads to the conviction, including witness testimonies, fingerprints, DNA evidence, murder weapons and forensic pathologist reports are all included. Red herrings and false statements that perpetrators use to defend themselves are usually omitted.

Dating App Catfish Murder of Adam Hilarie

2020 trial. A Florida man was murdered after meeting a woman on the dating app, PlentyOfFish.
On Aug. 18, 2016, 27-year-old Adam Hilarie went on a date with 18-year-old Hailey Bustos. The two had met on the dating app PlentyofFish, and enjoyed a night of bowling and hanging out at Hilarie’s place before he took Bustos home. That night, she reportedly texted him: “I had a good time and would to see you again,” all while conspiring with three others to rob the young father.
The next night, Bustos arrived at Hilarie’s home with Andre Warner, Gary Gray and Joshua Ellington. As the three men robbed Hilarie, one allegedly shot him in the head. According to arrest reports, Hilarie “was begging for his life” and “telling them he had a five-year-old daughter.” Prosecutors claim Warner pulled the trigger.
Bustos reportedly told police she was paid $50 to setup the robbery, but she didn’t know Hilarie would be killed. According to reports, she and Ellington were waiting in a vehicle outside Hilarie’s home during the murder. All four suspects were booked on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and First-Degree Murder.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
jEALOUS BOYFRIEND Murder of Raul Ortiz
Season 3, Episode 8. Released 28th May 2021
2020 trial. State of Florida Vs. Erin Robinson | First Degree Felony Murder beating death of Raul Ortiz.
Erin Robinson is accused of violently beating Raul Ortiz to death on Aug. 11, 2014.
Ortiz allegedly made inappropriate sexual comments whilst looking down the shirt of Kayla Bryant, Robinson's girlfriend, at a gas station in Tampa.
After learning of this encounter, Robinson gathered a posse and confronted Ortiz outside his house. Robinson struck Ortiz in the face multiple times, knocking him down.
Witnesses say Robinson’s friends had to pull him off an unconscious Ortiz before leaving the scene.
Ortiz never regained consciousness and had no brain activity following the incident. He died four days later.
Robinson was found guilty of first degree felony murder and burglary on 22nd of October 2020.
The defendant had been let out on bond prior to his trial, but shortly after the verdict was read, Robinson was shackled, led out of the courtroom and into custody.
pIZZA DELIVERY Murder of Ashley Biggs
Season 3, Episode 7. Released 6th May 2021
2020 trial. This trial was instigated after new evidence had emerged, tied to the murder of Ashley Nicole Biggs on June 20, 2012. Chad Cobb, the father of Ashley's daughter, has already pled guilty and been convicted of aggravated murder and kidnapping charges.
Now prosecutors in Summit County, Ohio allege that Cobb's then-wife Erica Stefanko, was a willing participant and accomplice in the murder, making the call for the pizza delivery that resulted in Ashley's death.
This trial took place at the Summit County Court of Common Pleas, Rittman, Ohio. November 2020.
Stefanko was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Murder of George Floyd

Derek Chauvin is an American former police officer facing murder charges for the killing of George Floyd, on May 25, 2020.
During an arrest made by Chauvin and three other officers, Chauvin knelt on George Floyd's neck for about nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed, lying face down on the street calling out "I can't breathe".
The next day, Chauvin was fired by the Minneapolis Police Department. He was charged with second-degree murder and lesser included offenses.
Chauvin was found guilty of all charges on 20th April, 2021.
Murder of his wife, Victoria
Season 3, Episode 5. Released 4th April 2021
2021 trial. James Prokopovitz is on trial for the murder of his wife, 59-year-old Victoria Prokopovitz on April 25, 2013. He reported his wife missing on April 26, claiming she disappeared during the early morning hours. Her body was never found.
Police arrested James in May 2019 to face counts of first-degree intentional homicide, obstructing police, conspiracy to commit perjury, and perjury.
Prosecutors allege James killed Victoria to have an affair with his old girlfriend, Kathy Friday. They were each charged with perjury and conspiracy to commit perjury.
After pleading guilty, Kathy took her own life in 2020.
Orchestrating the Murder of his Wife, Dr. Teresa Sievers
Season 3, Episode 4. Released 19th March 2021
2019 Trial Doctor Teresa Sievers’ dead body was discovered in her Florida home on June 29 2015.
In August 2015, police arrested two Missourri men, and eventually charged them with killing Sievers.
In December 2015, Teresa Sievers’ husband Mark was arrested and accused of orchestrating her killing.
Joel Guy Jr.
Murder of his parents, Lisa Guy & Joel Guy Sr.
Season 3, Episode 3. Released 11th February 2021
2020 trial. Joel Michael Guy Jr. was accused of murdering his parents Joel Michael Guy Sr., 61, and Lisa Guy, 55, in 2016.
His parents were discovered stabbed and dismembered, their remains placed in different rooms of the house.
It is alleged that Joel Guy Jr. killed his parents after they told him they would no longer pay his bills.
Joel Guy Jr. had given the judge permission to impose the death penalty if he was found guilty. The state did not pursue the death penalty.
Murder of Rachael Anderson
Season 3, Episode 2. Released 4th February 2021
2020 trial. Anthony Pardon, a registered sex offender, was accused of kidnapping, raping, and murdering Rachael Anderson in her apartment on her 24th birthday in January 2018.
Anderson was an apprentice at a Columbus Ohio funeral home.
Authorities found her body inside her bedroom closet on January 29th, 2018, after her co-workers, who were concerned of her absence, contacted police.
Pardon has previously served 24 years in prison for aggravated robbery, rape, and attempted murder.
Murder of his son, Chase
Season 3, Episode 1. Released 23rd January 2021
2020 trial. Kayle Alan Fleischauer was charged with the shooting death of his 19-year-old son, Chase, at his home in Wisconsin in April 2018.
Kayle was found guilty in his June 2019 trial, however the judge ordered a new trial after discovering juror misconduct.
Presented here is the retrial, which ran from 24th February to 3rd March 2020.
Unlike the first trial, Kayle did not testify in his own defence at retrial.
